According to initial information, at around 5:15 p.m. on February 10, a fire broke out at a rubber conveyor belt assembly site on Phan Trong Tue Street (Vinh Quynh Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi).

Witnesses said that at the time of the fire, they saw a burning smell and flames and smoke coming from behind the conveyor, roller, and sieve business at Km 1, Phan Trong Tue Street.

"When the fire was discovered, many people tried to use fire extinguishers to put out the fire and used forklifts to move some of the rubber conveyor belt rolls to another place," said a resident.

However, the flammable materials included rubber and scrap wood, so the fire quickly flared up and spread.
