The train pair is expected to start running from September 22, about 300 officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers from West Hai Phong to East Hai Phong will go to work every day by train.

The train pair is coded HP15/HP16. The train consists of 5-8 soft-seat coaches with 64 seats. Travel time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Afternoon from Hai Duong station to Hai Phong station (code HP15), departs from Hai Duong station at 6:00 am, arrives at Hai Phong station at 7:10 am, stops to pick up and drop off passengers at Thuong Ly station at 6:55 am.

Afternoon from Hai Phong station to Hai Duong station (code HP16), departs from Hai Phong station at 17:15, arrives at Hai Duong station at 18:20, stops to pick up and drop off passengers at Thuong Ly station at 17:25.

Ticket price is 55,000 VND/ticket, round-trip tickets on the same day are discounted 20%, group tickets apply the group ticket policy (buy 4 tickets, pay for 3 tickets). In addition, Hai Phong City will arrange additional buses to transport staff from the station to their workplace (and vice versa) for convenience.

During the trial period, the Railway industry will organize analysis and evaluation (every 10 days) to adjust train operation plans, adjust ticket price policies and consider deciding to continue the trial or put it into official operation to serve officials and people's travel.
