Spending tens of millions of dong every day to 'revive' peach gardens after Tet

Right after the Lunar New Year 2025, people in Nhat Tan peach village (Tay Ho district, Hanoi) are busy collecting beautiful peach trees to replant, care for, and prune, ready to prepare for the next year's Tet season.

After Tet, Nhat Tan peach farmers are busy "reviving" their peach gardens.Peach garden owners change new soil to help the peach trees stay healthy and ensure they bloom beautifully the next season.Peach trees rented by customers for Tet are also being transported back to the garden to be replanted. The pruning process is done very carefully and meticulously by peach growers. After Tet is the time when trees grow the most, so gardeners must urgently take care of the trees at the right time. After the peach trees have their branches cut off, they will be "applied with healing cream" and fertilized with soil to provide additional nutrients. Most gardeners have to hire additional workers at a cost of tens of millions of dong per day, an average of 500,000 dong per person per day.

After composting the soil, the peach roots will be watered a lot so that the soil quickly adheres to the roots, helping the tree grow quickly.Peach branches are neatly trimmed by people, waiting for buds, growth, and development for the next season.Peach trees from Lang Son are also bought by Nhat Tan peach growers to plant for the next Tet crop.Growing young peach trees requires a lot of careful care.Hopefully next year, Nhat Tan peach garden will bloom again.
