Join hands to protect the environment in schools

On the morning of October 4, at Le Hong Phong High School (Tay Hoa commune), the Provincial Association for Nature and Environment Protection coordinated with the school to organize a contest to join hands to protect the environment in schools in 2025.

Attending the event were Mr. Y Ka Nin H'Dok, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Nature and Environment Protection; Ms. Tran Thi Le Thuy, Principal of Le Hong Phong High School, along with teachers and students of the school.

Students of Le Hong Phong High School convey the message of environmental protection.

Through greetings, presentations, Green Action games and Q&A contests, students conveyed messages about current environmental issues such as forest protection, reducing plastic waste pollution, saving energy, sorting waste at source, etc.

Along with that is the responsibility of the children in contributing to environmental protection through specific actions such as not littering, mobilizing relatives and neighbors to protect trees, using water resources effectively, etc.

Mr. Le Van Thung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Association for Nature and Environment Protection, informed about the province's existing natural resources after the merger.

Here, students were also provided with information about the province's existing natural resources after the merger and the significance of maintaining special-use forest areas, protecting large and small rivers as well as valuable crops... for the sustainable socio -economic development of the locality.

Students will be active propagandists mobilizing the community to join hands in protecting the environment.

Mr. Y Ka Nin H'Dok, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Nature and Environment Protection, said: "This is an activity within the association's annual program to Make the World Cleaner, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment . Through this, it contributes to equipping students with knowledge and skills on environmental protection and responding to climate change in schools; fostering emotions and building an environmentally friendly attitude. Moving towards forming each student as an active propagandist to mobilize family and society to join hands in protecting the environment and responding to climate change."
