Taking place in Hanoi from June 23-30, the series of events will contribute to honoring family values, creating a cozy space to listen and share stories of every family, discuss with parents how to raise children, and bring meaningful books about family affection to children.
The first activity in this series of cozy events is a family-themed painting competition and exhibition, with a treasure trove of exciting prizes.
Children and parents can freely create with paper and crayons, draw the person they love most, or draw the joys or memorable memories of their family.
Warm, colorful, and full of lovely emotions, paintings by young artists are continuously being sent to Nha Nam. The 25 most impressive paintings will be awarded and exhibited at Lotte Mall Tay Ho, Hanoi from June 23-30.
At the opening of the exhibition, Nha Nam introduced to families the Family Bookcase with classic books that have long-lasting vitality in the world and books written and illustrated by Vietnamese authors and artists on this important topic.
Following the exhibition was a book tour where children listened to children’s book editor Nha Nam read extremely interesting and meaningful books about family love. The book tour also gave parents and children precious time together to participate in creative activities on the topic of family.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also introduces to parents and children the special book Everyone Counts, which won the 2019 Nordic Children's and Youth Literature Award and is one of Norway's best-selling books of all time. Here, parents and children will be guided on how to read and directly experience this very special book.
Finally, the talk show “Multi-generational family: When Gen X, Gen Y and Gen Z are one family” brings about discussions about the concept of multi-generational family and its importance in modern society.
The program creates opportunities for families to share and learn from each other about how to maintain sustainable family relationships; at the same time, it raises community awareness of diversity and multi-generational family, contributing to building a more diverse and harmonious society.
