Previously, on September 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front publicly disclosed 12,028 pages of statements of donations to flood victims via Vietcombank account number 0011001932418 from September 1-10.

According to data from the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, as of 5:00 p.m. today (September 13), organizations and individuals have transferred 775.5 billion VND to the Central Relief Mobilization Committee's account.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front continues to publicly disclose 2,009 additional pages of statements of donations to flood-affected people via Vietinbank account number CT1111 from September 10 to September 12, 2024.

From the amount received, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has decided to allocate and process the first transfer of 388.5 billion VND to the local Relief Committees.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee will continue to review the remaining funds to distribute as soon as possible to localities affected by storms and floods.

Through information that the Vietnam Fatherland Front publicly disclosed the statement, the social network community discovered a number of cases of "showing off" the amount of donations on their personal pages that was very different from the amount publicly disclosed in the statement.

Regarding the reason for publicly disclosing the statement of donations to people in flood-hit areas, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Movement Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that in response to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , in recent days, many agencies, businesses, organizations, groups and individuals at home and abroad have proactively contacted to support people suffering from damage in flood-hit areas through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

One very valuable point is that in recent days, millions of personal accounts have actively transferred money into the Central Relief Committee's account.

Some individuals donated 50,000 VND, some 100,000 VND, but there were accounts that donated up to hundreds of millions of VND. Some people did not actively announce their names but silently donated. These are very valuable gestures.

With the support and affection of people across the country for people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is focusing on organizing the timely reception of support resources and transferring money to the Relief Committees of affected localities to carry out relief work.
