Many travel companies in Hanoi said that at present, almost all hotels in the Old Quarter are fully booked for the September 2nd holiday, and even rooms that had been booked by companies were returned with the excuse of "serving the September 2nd holiday".

On social media platforms, people who watched the parade and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country and those who have not attended the "national concert" have joined together to form a Zalo or Facebook group to discuss plans, share experiences, etc. The groups have gathered thousands of participants. Many groups that watched the parade and march on the April 30th anniversary continue to operate, discussing plans to go to Hanoi. Most notably, there are still groups of people who have booked flights to Hanoi and booked hotel rooms in the Old Quarter, Ba Dinh District, and the streets around Uncle Ho's Mausoleum from August 30 to September 3.

According to a survey at this time, room rates in Hanoi and airfares have not increased. However, the phenomenon of no rooms available during the September 2nd holiday is quite common in the Old Quarter and the streets near Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
