At the ceremony, comrade Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced 9 Central Resolutions related to province and commune mergers and appointing new provincial-level personnel.
In which, Resolution 202/2025/QH-15 was announced on merging the entire population of Phu Yen province with Dak Lak province, named Dak Lak province; the administrative center is located in Dak Lak province. After the merger, the new Dak Lak province has an area of over 18,000 km 2 , with a population of over 3.3 million people.
Comrade Nguyen Thang An announced the Central Committee's decisions on the establishment of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, based on the merger of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee with the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee. Announced the decision to appoint comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee. The Deputy Secretaries of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee include: Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An; Comrade Ta Anh Tuan; Comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa and Comrade Do Huu Huy (Chairman of the People's Committee of the former Binh Thuan Province).
Appoint comrade Cao Thi Hoa An to hold the position of Chairwoman of the People's Council of Dak Lak province. Vice Chairmen of the People's Council of Dak Lak province include: comrade Do Thai Phong, comrade Tran Phung.
Announcing the decision to appoint comrade Tran Trung Hien to hold the position of Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission. Comrades Ho Quang De, Trinh Minh Chung, and Dang Kim Hung to hold the positions of Deputy Chairmen of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission.
Announcing Decision No. 1262/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, appointing comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen province to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, term 2021-2026.
Announcing Decision No. 1322/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on appointing the following comrades to hold the position of Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province for the 2021-2026 term, including: Ho Thi Nguyen Thao (Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Phu Yen province); Dao My (Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Phu Yen province); Nguyen Thien Van (Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Dak Lak province); Truong Cong Thai (Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of the former Dak Lak province).
Announcing the decision of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province.
At the ceremony, comrade Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Vice Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, also announced the end of the old district and commune-level Party Committee activities of the two provinces; decided to establish 102 new commune and ward Party Committees; and announced the appointment of new Party Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of new communes and wards.
