Announcing the list of students receiving the '2024 Valedictorian Support' scholarship

TPO - On December 19, the Organizing Committee of the "Supporting Valedictorians" scholarship decided to award scholarships to 90 students who are new valedictorians of their schools, majors, and have high scores from universities nationwide.

TPO - On December 19, the Organizing Committee of the "Supporting Valedictorians" scholarship decided to award scholarships to 90 students who are new valedictorians of their schools, majors, and have high scores from universities nationwide.

This year, the Organizing Committee received more than 350 applications from universities and academies across the country. Based on the criteria, the Organizing Committee selected 30 students from the Northern region and 60 students from the Southern region to award scholarships. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded scholarships to 5 students who received the Valedictorian Scholarship in previous years but continued to maintain good academic performance. Each scholarship is worth 10 million VND in cash and many meaningful and valuable items.

List of students receiving the 2024 Valedictorian Scholarship

Students receiving scholarships must meet all the following conditions: be valedictorian or salutatorian of entrance exams for majors and universities; have difficult family circumstances, be recommended by the school; have the aspiration to overcome adversity to become useful citizens (expressed through a handwritten letter sent to the Scholarship Organizing Committee).

The program “Supporting Valedictorians” is an annual activity in the series of activities of the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund, with Tien Phong newspaper as the Standing Committee. This is the 9th year the program has taken place. Up to now, the Organizing Committee has awarded scholarships to more than 800 students.

This year, the "Supporting Valedictorians" scholarship and honor program will take place on January 4, 2025. In Hanoi , the program will be held at the headquarters of Tien Phong newspaper; in Ho Chi Minh City, the program will be held at Hong Bang International University.
