Attending the ceremony were comrades: Duong Mah Tiep - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thuy Van - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Siu Trung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Also attending were representatives of the State Enterprise Development Department ( Ministry of Finance ), Vietnam Rubber Industry Group and rubber enterprises in Gia Lai province.
Chu Pah Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., formerly Ninh Duc Rubber Farm, was established in 1976, on the basis of taking over 220 hectares of rubber planted since 1960 from the old regime.
In 1985, implementing the Government 's policy on rubber industry management and rubber development program in the Central Highlands, the Vietnam Rubber General Department took over Ninh Duc Rubber Farm and established Chu Pah Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.
After 49 years of establishment, including 40 years as a legal entity, the Company has grown strongly. The scale of the managed area is more than 14,000 hectares of rubber; of which, there are more than 9,800 hectares in Vietnam and more than 4,200 hectares in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Company's rubber plantation area in Vietnam has an annual latex output of over 7,000 tons of dry weight, with an average yield of 1.69 tons/ha. The Company has two rubber processing factories with modern production lines and a capacity of over 10,000 tons/year; CHUPACO branded products meet international standards.
In parallel with production, the Company also focuses on applying science and technology, improving quality, building a strong brand in domestic and foreign markets, achieving many prestigious certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, TCVN 3769:2016, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and being granted a certificate of sustainable forest management according to VFCS/PEFC-FM, a certificate of product chain of custody according to PEFC-CoC and being granted the right to use the certification mark "Vietnam Rubber".
The company currently has more than 1,700 employees, of which ethnic minority workers account for over 65%. In recent years, the company has effectively implemented the Government's programs 132 and 134, helping households lacking production land and residential land to have the opportunity to settle down and make a living.
The model of developing rubber trees combined with industrial crops and livestock has been successfully applied, creating stable jobs for hundreds of ethnic minority households, contributing to changing the face of villages.
Through many stages, Chu Pah Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. has always had stable development steps. Most recently, in the period from 2020-2024, despite many difficulties in the world and domestic economy, the Company still exceeded many assigned targets such as: total rubber output over 5 years reached 66,146 tons, reaching more than 103% of the plan; average annual productivity gradually increased from 1.56 tons/ha to 1.69 tons/ha, reaching 108% of the plan.
Consumption output was 66,538 tons, reaching 101.7% of the plan; total revenue reached 2,667.5 billion VND, reaching 108% of the plan; total profit was 602 billion VND, reaching 136.6% of the plan; total budget payment was 130.3 billion VND, reaching more than 106% of the plan.
As the only unit of the Group in the top 10 sustainable enterprises in 2024, the Company is increasingly affirming its role and position in the manufacturing sector and marking a 5-year journey of being continuously honored as a sustainable enterprise (2020-2024).
In 2024, Chu Pah Rubber continued to be honored at the “Outstanding Enterprise for Workers” Award. This is the third consecutive time the Company has received this title.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Mah Tiep acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements that the Company has achieved in the process of construction and development, affirming its position as one of the key enterprises of the province and of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group.
To continue promoting the achievements, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Company to focus on optimizing land use efficiency by promoting the application of science and technology, innovating management and increasing the application of advanced agricultural solutions. Continue to increase the added value of products; invest in deep processing to create products with higher value; at the same time, proactively seek and conquer new markets...
Along with that, continue to take comprehensive care of the material and spiritual life of workers; proactively and closely coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities in making socio-economic development plans; proactively review and complete necessary legal documents for future investment and development orientations.
Further promote the role of connecting with the community, maintain solidarity and close relationships with local authorities and people, contribute to strengthening national defense and security and building new rural areas...
On this occasion, two individuals of the Company were honored to receive certificates of merit from the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in the 2019-2023 period, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
Vietnam Rubber Industry Group presented a banner to the Company for its outstanding achievements in "40 years of solidarity - innovation - development (1985-2025)".
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag to the Company for its excellent and comprehensive completion of its tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2024; and awarded a certificate of merit to the Company on the occasion of its 40th anniversary.
Also on this occasion, 8 individuals of the Company received the Badge "For the cause of Vietnam Rubber"; 40 individuals received certificates of merit from the General Director of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; 110 individuals received certificates of merit from the General Director of Chu Pah Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.
