Binh Phuoc Traffic Police fined many cases of alcohol concentration violations during Tet holiday

(NLDO) - Through inspection, the Traffic Police of Binh Phuoc province have drawn up records to fine dozens of cases of alcohol concentration violations in Binh Phuoc .

On January 31 (the third day of Tet), Major Pham Quoc Cuong, Deputy Head of Dong Phu Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department, Binh Phuoc Provincial Police) informed that many cases of alcohol concentration violations had been handled during the Lunar New Year 2025.

According to Major Cuong, implementing the direction of Binh Phuoc Provincial Police and working "through the night and through Tet", the Traffic Police force of the whole province has deployed measures to ensure traffic order and safety.

In particular, focus on controlling violations of alcohol concentration, drugs, speed, and preventing traffic jams and illegal racing.

Many cases were punished for violating alcohol concentration.

From January 28 (December 29) to the morning of January 31 (the third day of Tet), the traffic police handled 30 cases of alcohol concentration violations, including 25 cases of motorbike drivers and 5 cases of car drivers.

There are also cases where traffic police warn people after violating the law.

"The Traffic Police force has arranged 100% of its personnel to be on duty in the days before and after Tet, and 50% of its personnel during Tet, ensuring maximum force and means, and absolute safety for recreational activities during the Lunar New Year 2025" - Major Cuong affirmed.

Previously, implementing the direction of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police have synchronously deployed measures to suppress all types of crimes, law violations, and social evils; strengthened the work of ensuring traffic order and safety, fire prevention, fire fighting, and rescue, to prevent serious accidents and explosions during and after the Lunar New Year.
