For Mr. Du, "blood can wait for the sick, but the sick cannot wait for blood." Therefore, donating blood is not to be recognized or set a record, but it is a voluntary work related to human life, so it is extremely valuable and worthy of respect.

Once, when visiting a relative in the hospital, Mr. Du happened to see cases where the hospital did not have enough blood to transfuse, and the family had to run around looking for blood donors.

Since then, every 3 months, Mr. Du has come to the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Donation Center to donate blood. In the past 25 years, he has donated blood 97 times. Many times, he had to rush out at night to save people, because he has the rare AB blood type.

In his small house, his most precious possessions are the certificates and medals for his blood donation career. At first, he did this volunteer work quietly because he was afraid his family would worry.

And until now, Mr. Du continues to donate blood, because for him, his actions not only help save the lives of patients, but it will also spread the local voluntary blood donation movement, so that human love will become even warmer.
