[CYSEEX Q4/2024] 2024 Milestones: CYSEEX Steadily Steps on the Journey to Protect Cyberspace

On January 8, 2025, in Hanoi , the event "Summary of the CYSEEX ATTT Exercise Quarter 4 and Summary of 2024" took place . This important event aimed to evaluate the results of operations in the last quarter of the year, summarize the achievements of 2024 and outline the direction of operations for the Alliance in 2025. Alliance members demonstrated high determination, ready to conquer all set goals.

The CYSEEX Exercise event is held monthly with the following key objectives:

Evaluate and test the response capabilities of the exercise unit against external attacks.
Improve capacity and expertise in cyber attacks and build effective defense systems for Information Security (SSS) and Information System Administration (IS) teams.
Strengthening the ability to coordinate information security between units and specialized organizations in responding to cyber attacks

Every quarter, the CYSEEX Alliance holds a meeting to evaluate the results of the exercise, to draw lessons, update the latest information security knowledge and improve the capacity of its members.

System Hardening is the process of enhancing the security of computer systems by minimizing security vulnerabilities and potential weaknesses. The main goal of system hardening is to minimize the risk of cyber attacks, unauthorized access and other harmful actions. This process includes configuring the system securely, removing unnecessary services, patching known security vulnerabilities and applying other security measures. The sharing affirmed the essential role of system hardening in preventing security risks.
