Da Nang: Peak of integrating health insurance cards into VNeID

DNVN - Implementing the direction of the Chairman of the City People's Committee, the Da Nang health sector is implementing a peak campaign to propagate and guide people to activate level 2 electronic identification accounts and integrate health insurance cards into the VneID application.

Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Director of the Da Nang Department of Health said that the Department's leaders consider this a key task of the city's health sector in the current period, so they have urgently directed medical facilities in the area to simultaneously take action and effectively implement the direction of the Chairman of the City People's Committee.

People come to see a doctor and receive medical treatment at public health facilities in Da Nang .

Accordingly, 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities under the Da Nang Department of Health are required to mobilize maximum force in reception, medical examination and hospital fee payment areas to directly guide people to activate electronic identification accounts and integrate health insurance cards into the VNeID application.

Hospitals and medical centers are required to ensure that propaganda and support take place regularly and continuously, linked to the medical examination, treatment and payment process for people to conveniently implement.

In addition, the Da Nang Department of Health assigned the responsibility to the leaders of the units to monitor, inspect, and urge the progress of implementation to all civil servants, public employees, and workers to integrate health insurance into the VneID application. At the same time, mobilize family members to register and practice cashless when going to see a doctor.

The Da Nang health sector also closely coordinates with relevant units, especially social insurance and city police, to synchronize health insurance data with the National Population Database, creating favorable conditions for people in the process of using electronic health books on VNeID.

Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy said that the goal of the Da Nang health sector is to ensure the progress set by the City People's Committee, striving to complete the target of integrating health insurance cards into the VNeID application by September 25, 2025.
