Da Nang proposes to handle "price-inflating" construction stone quarries

According to feedback from construction project investors in the area about contractors buying construction stone at higher prices than the announced prices, the scarcity of construction stone and some quarries selling through intermediaries, the Department of Construction issued Official Dispatch No. 4732/SXD-QLXD dated June 5, requesting units exploiting and supplying construction stone materials to report related contents: information on licensing and exploitation, the situation of selling materials to construction contractors; reviewing announced prices...

Currently, the Department of Construction has reported on the remaining stone volume at the mines and the form of stone trading by units exploiting and supplying construction stone materials.

Specifically, according to the license term, Truong Ban mine of Truong Ban Construction Company Limited has 150,000 ^m3 left, Ho Bac 3 mine of Southern Mineral Exploitation and Construction Company Limited - Da Nang has more than 47,000 ^m3 left.

Hoc Gia Hanh mine of Quang Hung Company Limited has 59,000 ^m3 left. Phuoc Nhan mine of Trung Trung Bo Mining Chemical Industry Company has more than 37,000 ^m3 left. Son Phuoc mine of Trung Thanh Da Nang Company Limited has more than 762,000 ^m3 left.

The mining period of the above mines is until December 31, 2025. All units will sell at the mine to contractors with means of transport at the price proposed by the Department of Construction. Contractors without means of transport will pay the transportation costs to the transport units.

The Department of Construction recommends that investors provide the above information to construction contractors. When contractors need to buy stone, they should contact directly with licensed mining units.

In case the licensed units do not sell or increase the selling price higher than the announced price, the investors are requested to report to the Department of Construction and provide relevant evidence. The Department will synthesize and coordinate with relevant units to report to the City People's Committee to propose handling according to legal regulations.
