Da Nang completed 99% of public investment capital plan

By the end of 2023, Da Nang City's public investment disbursement rate will reach 96.1%. It is expected that Da Nang City will complete 99% of the public investment disbursement plan before January 31, 2024.

According to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, in 2023, the city's Construction sector has made efforts, focused on directing, drastically implementing and successfully completing assigned political tasks. The Construction sector has completed 16/17 tasks assigned by the People's Committee of Da Nang City and achieved a rate of 94.1%.

In particular, in the disbursement of public investment capital, by the end of 2023, the disbursement rate will reach 96.1%; it is expected to complete 99% of the capital plan before January 31, 2024.

The Construction Industry of Da Nang City has completed 16/17 tasks assigned by the City People's Committee.

In administrative reform work, the Department of Construction has submitted and announced 4 new decisions to issue, amend and supplement administrative procedures under its jurisdiction, with 61 administrative procedures; chaired and coordinated with the People's Committees of districts and wards to submit for approval and announce 1 decision to issue procedures in the field of Construction under the jurisdiction of the People's Committees of districts, wards and communes; continued to implement the pilot process of administrative procedures (2 in 1)...

Thanks to that, the early and timely one-stop records reached 99.63%; the work completion rate of the City People's Committee reached 94% (up 14% over the same period last year); the satisfaction rate of organizations and citizens with the Department's public administrative services reached 100%; the Department-level competitiveness index of the Department of Construction was assessed as relatively good, ranking 4th in the whole city.

Based on the achieved results, in 2024, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City is determined to strive and contribute to completing the city's annual theme. In particular, the Department of Construction sets out the main targets such as: completing 3 tasks according to the annual theme; completing tasks according to the work program assigned by the People's Committee of Da Nang City in 2024; completing tasks of directing and operating socio -economic development in 2024; completing regular professional tasks well; the completion rate and updating of work assigned by the City People's Committee on the software is maintained and reaches a minimum of 95%; improving the administrative reform ranking compared to 2023...

At the conference summarizing the work in 2023 and deploying the tasks in 2024 of the Construction sector of Da Nang City on January 17, 2024, Mr. Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, highly appreciated the results achieved by the Construction sector in 2023. In particular, it is worth noting the efforts of the Construction sector so that from the beginning of 2024, the People's Committee of Da Nang City implemented the decision to rent apartments to 44 poor households with especially difficult circumstances and exempted and reduced house rents for households to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2024.

Mr. Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, requested the Construction sector to focus on reviewing and handling technical infrastructure issues; and urge the focus on handling degraded collective housing.

Mr. Nam said that the Construction industry needs to further strengthen administrative discipline in accordance with the spirit of Directive 34-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee on continuing to promote administrative reform, overcoming the current situation of evasion, shirking, and failure to properly and fully perform the duties, tasks, and powers of a number of cadres, party members, civil servants, and public employees.

Focus on reviewing and handling technical infrastructure contents; urge to focus on handling degraded collective housing; strengthen inspection and acceptance of construction works, promote construction order management; further improve appraisal and construction permit issuance.
