Da Nang awards scholarships to 480 children of workers, civil servants and laborers

At the ceremony, the City Labor Federation awarded 480 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) and gifts to the children with a total value of nearly 500 million VND.

These are students who are children of workers, civil servants, and laborers and have achieved high prizes in national and city-level excellent student competitions; students who have difficult circumstances but have overcome difficulties to study well and participate in family, school, and social activities.

Children also participate in picnics, group activities, practice life skills, interact and experience self-care, and learn necessary life skills.

The activities aim to propagate, raise awareness and responsibility of all levels of Trade Unions, union members, workers, civil servants and employees towards family and children work; ensure the implementation of children's rights, join hands to improve the living environment, promote the care, protection and education of children.

Thereby, it also creates motivation for employees to feel secure in their work, labor, production, and complete assigned tasks well.
