Da Nang identifies possible locations to consider establishing a Free Trade Zone
Da Nang City has preliminarily selected and identified 9 areas that can pilot the establishment of Free Trade Zones to report to the Government .
On the afternoon of August 15, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly , Nguyen Duc Hai and his delegation worked with the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee on the implementation of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government, piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies.
Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang affirmed that Resolution 136 issued by the National Assembly has created a great driving force for the city's development.
Currently, Da Nang city is urgently advising the Government to establish a Steering Committee to implement Resolution 136.
Da Nang City has also preliminarily selected and identified 9 areas that can be used to establish Free Trade Zones to submit to the Government.

The Secretary of Da Nang also said that the City is hiring international consultants to study the establishment of a Free Trade Zone, which will also help us connect with investors. The State will only use public investment to invest in the fence of the Free Trade Zone, while the inside will be left to strategic investors to implement.
To effectively implement the Resolution, Da Nang proposes that the National Assembly and its Committees continue to guide the city in implementing and completing documents and procedures related to specific mechanisms and policies...
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai highly appreciated the work of disseminating and implementing Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 of the National Assembly of Da Nang city.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that the National Assembly always accompanies the city to accelerate the socio-economic development of Da Nang; hoping that the city will take advantage of this special Resolution to accelerate development.

The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that Da Nang needs to have its own way of doing things, different from other localities that also enjoy special mechanisms such as Nghe An, Can Tho, Thanh Hoa and Khanh Hoa, to implement the Resolution most effectively.
Because Da Nang is piloting many new and innovative contents such as researching the formation of a Free Trade Zone.
Da Nang needs to continue to prepare carefully and qualitatively before piloting specific mechanisms and policies; proactively and effectively coordinate with central ministries and branches to remove difficulties and obstacles to effectively implement Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15.
