The 1st Congress of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, held a preparatory session.

VTV.vn - On the morning of September 29, the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress held a preparatory session with 500 delegates at the Provincial House of Culture and Arts.

Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

Attending and directing the preparatory session of the Congress were leaders of the Departments of the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Inspection Committee , the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Central Internal Affairs Committee, the Central Strategic Policy Committee and the Central Party Office.

Attending the preparatory session were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Minh Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Duy Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Duc Hinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Bui Huy Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Thi Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress was attended by 500 delegates (97 ex-officio delegates, 403 delegates appointed from 152 Party Congresses directly under the Provincial Party Committee) representing over 257 thousand Party members of the entire Party Committee. These are excellent delegates, representing the intelligence, political mettle, fighting spirit and strength of the Party Committee.

Speaking at the preparatory session, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong emphasized: The 1st Provincial Party Congress is a political event of special importance to the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province. The success of the 1st Provincial Party Congress will contribute significantly to the success of the 14th National Party Congress.

The Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee suggested: From the experiences drawn from the Congress of 152 affiliated Party Committees, in order to improve the quality and ensure the good implementation of the requirements, contents and programs set out by the Congress, meeting the trust and expectations of all cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province, the delegates attending the Congress should uphold their sense of responsibility, concentrate their intelligence, actively participate in speaking and discussing, and contribute quality opinions to successfully complete a number of important contents at the preparatory session.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected a Presidium of 15 comrades, a Secretariat of 2 comrades and a Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 5 comrades. Based on the report of the Presidium, the Congress voted to approve the Working Program, Internal Rules and Working Regulations of the Congress.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Minh, on behalf of the Presidium, presented the draft Report synthesizing comments on the draft Documents of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Also at the preparatory session, the Congress announced the Decision to establish delegations and discussion groups. Accordingly, the Congress established 7 discussion groups, each group of about 70 delegates, participating simultaneously in 7 different halls.

The Congress will review the implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses of Phu Tho province, Vinh Phuc province and Hoa Binh province for the 2020-2025 term; determine the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; and discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

According to the Congress Program, in the afternoon of the same day, the Congress will continue the preparatory session with discussion contents in the Group and discussion in the Hall; at the same time, thoroughly grasp some contents related to the official Congress session.
