The 1st Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025

The 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is a historical milestone, an important political event; held at a time when the entire Party, army and people are comprehensively, synchronously and extensively promoting the innovation process, confidently entering a new era of development - the era of national growth.

The Congress took place after the merger of administrative units of Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces, with the important task of evaluating the implementation results of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; deciding on directions, goals, targets, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

The 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, identified the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity and development aspirations; mobilizing and effectively using all resources; innovating, digital transformation; striving to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the Central region". The Congress also set out the motto of action: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development".

The general goal by 2030 is to build a strong and comprehensive Party organization; develop a fast and sustainable socio-economy, taking the four pillars: Energy - Logistics - Tourism - Green Agriculture as the driving force; develop a synchronous and modern infrastructure; effectively exploit the East-West economic corridor and expand new development space. By 2045, Quang Tri strives to become a fairly developed province, a unique energy, logistics and tourism center of the whole country.

The congress elected a 17-member Presidium to run the congress.

On the first working day, the Congress approved the preparatory session agenda, elected executive and support bodies, approved the official session agenda, working rules and regulations; and announced the division of delegates. The Congress highly agreed on the spirit of working economically and effectively, promoting discipline in speaking in the hall and discipline in information and documents. Organization, logistics, security, medical care, and information and propaganda work were carefully prepared; the flag-raising ceremony, welcoming the children's delegation, and other ceremonial contents were carefully guided to ensure that the official session took place according to the script, solemnly and warmly.

Regarding the number of the Presidium, 100% of the Congress delegates agreed that the Congress Presidium has 17 members. The list of personnel introduced by the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term was studied, discussed and unanimously approved by the delegates with a very high approval rate.

Before the preparatory meeting, the delegation attending the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and the Heroes and Martyrs at the Temple of Uncle Ho and the Heroes and Martyrs of Quang Tri Province.

On the morning of October 5, the official session of the 1st Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will open at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center.
