The 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance of Lang Son province, term 2025 - 2030, was a great success.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, comrade Phan Hong Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee, emphasized: The Congress of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance takes place in the context of the whole country officially entering the operation of the two-level local government; the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army are striving to complete the set goals and tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, towards the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress. The Congress is a political event of extremely important significance; the Congress has the task of evaluating the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Congress of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance for the 2020-2025 term; deciding on the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the leadership of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance; discuss and contribute opinions to draft documents submitted to the Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress focused on discussing draft documents, evaluating work results in the 2020 - 2025 term; determining goals, directions, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; reviewing reports of the Party Committee for the 2022 - 2025 term; contributing to the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress and the draft documents of the Party Congress of the Department of Finance for the 2025 - 2030 term. The reports presented at the Congress highlighted the achievements in leadership and direction of professional tasks, Party building, inspection, supervision and development of Party members; in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Finance has made efforts, overcome all difficulties and united, well performed the assigned roles, functions and tasks; Completed 12/12 targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term, admitted 16 new party members, reaching 100% of the set targets; performed well the advisory function for the Provincial People's Committee on state management of finance, state budget, price and public asset management; planning, socio -economic synthesis, planning and development investment, etc. At the same time, the Congress also pointed out the limitations, shortcomings and drew lessons to improve the quality of leadership in the coming term. Based on the achieved results, the Congress discussed and agreed on the key directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Voting on the contents at the Congress

Speaking at the Congress, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee acknowledged and commended the results that the Party Committee of the Department of Finance had achieved in the past term; agreed with the goals, tasks and solutions determined by the Congress in the coming term; and emphasized that in the coming time, all Party members and people in the Party Committee continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee on tasks of socio-economic development, finance - budget, investment - private economic development, contributing significantly to the overall growth target of the whole province in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province gave a speech directing the Congress.

At the Congress, the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Lang Son province announced the Decision on appointing personnel for the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance, term 2025 - 2030. Of which, 08 comrades were appointed to participate in the Executive Committee; Comrade Phan Hong Tien, Director of the Department of Finance was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department, term 2025 - 2030; at the same time, the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Lang Son province announced the Decision of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee appointing 06 official delegates and 01 alternate delegate to attend the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Finance for the 2025-2030 term was introduced to the Congress.

The Congress voted to pass the Resolution of the Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, in the spirit of " Promoting the leadership role, enhancing the capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; solidarity, intelligence, responsibility, discipline, innovation, creativity; determined to excellently complete the task of advising on socio-economic development and budget management and operation " . The Party Committee of the Department of Finance is determined to successfully implement the goals and targets set for the 2025-2030 term, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 18th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress.
