Dak Lak and the whole country compete to complete 3,000km of expressway

On November 6, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province announced that Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had just signed a plan to organize a peak emulation campaign "Dak Lak and the whole country compete for 500 days and nights to complete 3,000km of expressway", aiming to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, promoting the strength of the entire political system, agencies, organizations and individuals involved in the construction of expressway projects and items.

In particular, striving to complete the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway and put it into operation on schedule, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of completing 3,000km of expressway with the whole country before December 31, 2025.

According to the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the peak emulation period will be implemented from November 2024, with a preliminary review in December 2024 and a final review at the end of 2025. Accordingly, the emulation movement will be widely deployed to agencies, units and localities across the province.

Investors, Project Management Boards, and contractors are committed and determined to complete the tasks according to the set schedule. At the same time, regularly check and monitor the implementation of emulation to promptly commend and reward advanced models, share initiatives and good experiences, replicate models and creative methods in the process of implementing highway construction projects.

"Competing in creative labor, completing on schedule, exceeding plans, ensuring the quality of highway works and projects in the province. Competing in construction, consulting and supervising to ensure quality, technique, aesthetics, environmental sanitation, labor safety, creating a landscape for the development space of the project after completion.

At the same time, coordinate with local authorities to resolve difficulties and obstacles related to construction materials and site clearance. Propagate and mobilize people to agree, comply with policies, and actively participate in site clearance for infrastructure projects under the expressway project in their residential areas.

Investors and Project Management Boards of agencies, units and localities direct and urge construction contractors and supervision consultants to concentrate, mobilize all resources, promptly take effective measures and resolutely handle construction contractors who do not meet requirements.

For consulting units, construction contractors, and businesses participating in projects, complete 100% of assigned work and tasks, ensuring progress and quality.

"Enhance the sense of responsibility, mobilize human resources, machinery, equipment, improve labor productivity, speed up the progress of project implementation, and ensure completion according to the committed plan," the Plan signed by the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

The Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project Phase 1 has a total investment of VND21,935 billion. The project has a total length of about 116.577km.

The project is divided into three component projects: component project 1 is invested by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, component project 2 is invested by the Ministry of Transport and component 3 is invested by Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.

Of which, component project 3 has a total route length of about 48.093km, with a total investment of more than VND 6,165 billion; component project 2 is about 37.5km through Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces, with a total investment of more than VND 10,436 billion.
