Ensure absolute security and safety in Ba Dinh Square area

On the afternoon of August 20, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the three years 2023-2025, inspected the preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum area, Ba Dinh Square ( Hanoi ).

After directly inspecting the logistics preparations, vehicles, seats, and equipment installation in the stage area; working with ministries, branches, and the Hanoi People's Committee, comrade Tran Cam Tu assessed that all preparations for the celebration, parade, march, etc. by the afternoon of August 20 basically ensured quality and progress.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu noted that the plan to welcome and arrange delegates to sit in the stands in Ba Dinh Square area must be given special attention. The general spirit is to prioritize guest delegates who have contributed to the revolution, to the country, and the elderly, policy beneficiaries... This is also an opportunity to show the respect and gratitude of the Party and State to those who have contributed to the country. Therefore, the units assigned to make the list of guest delegates must ensure the correct principles of composition and structure...

Comrade Tran Cam Tu requested the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security , and the Hanoi People's Committee to carry out a detailed plan for coordination in welcoming and arranging accommodation for delegates from provinces and cities to Hanoi, especially veteran delegates, heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, heroes of the armed forces, heroes of labor, people with meritorious services to the revolution, etc. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should carefully carry out the work of welcoming international guests to attend.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu stated that there are more than 10 days left until the grand ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2. Based on the complete and detailed plans, all agencies need to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks. In particular, relevant agencies must conduct regular inspections to ensure absolute security and safety in the Ba Dinh Square area, including the grandstand area.
