The Congress of the 12th Corps Party Committee is an important event, affirming the solidarity, unity, political mettle and position of the "lean, compact, strong" main Corps, the mobile combat force of the Vietnam People's Army. The Congress is conducted under the motto "Solidarity, democracy, discipline, determination to win, development".

Delegates attending the congress promoted political responsibility, promoted democracy, focused their intelligence, actively discussed and contributed many quality opinions to evaluate the leadership results in implementing the resolution of the past term.

Faced with the requirements of the new situation, the congress identified a number of key targets for implementation in the 2025-2030 term: The Party Committee leads the construction of an Army Corps with comprehensive quality, mobility, and high combat readiness; 100% of agencies and units are ready for combat well, not to be caught off guard. Every year, 100% of cadres are trained according to decentralization, with 90% of battalion cadres, 85% of company cadres, 80% of platoon cadres or higher achieving good or excellent (35% achieving excellent); 100% of squad training content meets requirements, 78% or more achieving good or excellent.

The Party Committee leads the building of a politically strong Army Corps: 100% of officers and soldiers thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints, guidelines, policies, and the State's laws; have steadfast, firm political will, are absolutely loyal, and trust the Party's leadership, have high determination, and are ready to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks. Lead the building of a lean, strong, modern, and elite agency and unit; a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Army Corps; strictly comply with fighting regulations; create solidarity, unity, and maintain Party discipline.

The Congress contributed many quality opinions to the draft documents of the Central Executive Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the draft political report of the Central Military Commission to be submitted to the 12th National Party Congress of the Army.

The delegates promoted democracy, emphasized responsibility, and wisely selected comrades with sufficient qualities and capacity to be elected to the Party Executive Committee of the 12th Corps for the 2025-2030 term and the delegation to attend the 12th Party Congress of the Army.
