Da Huoai 3 commune changed its name from Ba Gia commune, established on the basis of merging Doan Ket commune and Da P'loa commune of Da Huoai district (old). After establishment, Da Huoai 3 commune has a natural area of 131.51 km2, population of 6,500 people.
