The Communist Party of Vietnam is a genuine revolutionary party. The birth of the Party on February 3, 1930 was the result of the combination of Marxism-Leninism with the workers' movement and the patriotic movement of our people. This was a major historical turning point, ending the prolonged crisis in organization and direction of the Vietnamese revolution in the previous period.

In the vibrant and glorious revolutionary process of our nation, our Party firmly takes Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought as the ideological foundation and compass for action and constantly strengthens solidarity, unity, and close ties with the people.

Over the past 94 years, the heroic history of the Party and our nation has proven that the correct and wise leadership of the Party is the leading factor determining all victories of the revolution and creating many miracles in Vietnam. The Party led the entire Vietnamese people to the "earth-shaking" victory of the August Revolution in 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) on September 2, 1945; winning the two resistance wars against France and the US, unifying the country in the spring of 1975. The country was at peace , the Party continued to lead our people into the comprehensive renovation process with proud achievements: Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today.

The Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution is the choice of the nation, the choice of history. The great achievements our nation has attained over the past 94 years have affirmed the mettle, intelligence, experience, prestige and capacity to lead the country of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Along with that extremely glorious process, our Party has been tempered and increasingly matured, worthy of its role and mission of leading the revolution and the trust and expectations of the people.

With full faith, pride and confidence, we move forward under the glorious flag of the Party, firmly believing that our country will develop faster and more sustainably, continuing to open up a bright future for our entire nation.

With its affirmed mettle, wisdom and prestige, our Party continues to firmly adhere to and creatively apply and develop Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; firmly adhere to the goal of national independence and socialism; firmly adhere to the Party's renewal policy; firmly adhere to the principles of Party building to firmly build and defend the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. At the same time, we continue to improve the Party's leadership capacity, governing capacity and fighting strength; arouse the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country, strive by the mid-21st century, and turn our country into a developed country, following the socialist orientation. In the immediate future, our entire Party, people and army continue to join hands, unite, seize every opportunity and advantage, overcome all difficulties and challenges, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; at the same time, be ready to prepare for Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress. These are all new milestones of our Party on the path of national development.

As the Capital - the heart of the whole country, with great honor and responsibility, the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi will continue to be exemplary, closely following the leadership and direction of the Central Government; strictly implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on strengthening discipline, discipline and responsibility in handling work associated with well implementing the theme of 2024 "Discipline, responsibility, action, creativity, development", thereby practically celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee (March 17, 1930 - March 17, 2024), 70 years of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

Celebrating 94 springs with the Party, remembering the great President Ho Chi Minh, we are "proud and confident under the glorious flag of the Party, determined to build an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam" as the title of the article by Professor, Doctor, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Party's founding.
