Northern Regional Qualifiers: Race of 16 Teams

The Northern Regional Qualifiers will take place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (No. 1 Dai Co Viet, Bach Mai Ward, Hanoi City) from September 26 to 28, 2025. 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups, playing a round robin. After the group stage, the 8 strongest teams (4 first-place teams and 4 second-place teams) will enter the quarter-finals.

In the quarter-finals, the 4 winning teams will directly advance to the national finals. The losing teams still have a chance with 2 final spots through the play-off round.

Specifically, the losing teams in quarter-final 1 will meet the losing teams in quarter-final 2 and the losing teams in quarter-final 3 will meet the losing teams in quarter-final 4. Draws in the play-off will go to penalty shootouts to determine the winning team.

The teams participating in the Northern qualifying round include: Ninh Binh Trade Union, Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union, Hai Phong Trade Union, Vietnam Banking Trade Union, Dien Bien Trade Union, Vietnam Health Trade Union, Hung Yen Trade Union, Bac Ninh 1 & 2 Trade Union, Hanoi Trade Union, People's Public Security Trade Union, Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union, Phu Tho Trade Union, State Bank, Agribank , VPBank.

Southern Regional Qualifiers: 24 Teams' Playground

The Southern region will witness the participation of 24 football teams, competing at Ton Duc Thang University (19 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and People's Police University (36 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) from October 9 to 12, 2025.

The teams will be divided into six groups. The six group winners and the two best runners-up will advance to the quarter-finals. A total of ten finalists will be determined in this region.

Some prominent teams in the Southern region: Can Tho City Trade Union, Quang Ngai Trade Union, Vinh Long Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 1, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 3, Gia Lai Trade Union, Dong Thap Trade Union, Dong Nai Trade Union 1, Dong Nai Trade Union 2, Dong Nai Trade Union 3, Tay Ninh Trade Union 1, Tay Ninh Trade Union 2, Khanh Hoa Trade Union, Da Nang Trade Union, An Giang Trade Union, Vietnam Maritime Trade Union, Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, SAWACO, Becamex Group, Le Bao Minh, Long An International Port, Searefico, Sacombank Trade Union.

The final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025 will be the pinnacle competition of the 16 strongest teams, including 6 teams from the Northern region and 10 teams from the Southern region. With an attractive competition format and a large number of participating teams, the tournament promises to bring high-quality football performances.

In 2025, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Football Federation and Tuoi Tre newspaper will continue to coordinate to organize the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament . Entering the third year of organization, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual and prestigious playground for workers, civil servants and laborers across the country, contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports, improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.

This year's tournament is honored to receive the support of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO); Dong Luc Sports Group; HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company; Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company; Sunshine Group; Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO); Faslink Joint Stock Company; 108 Central Military Hospital; 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.

The press conference to announce the tournament will take place on September 16 in Ho Chi Minh City. This will be followed by the Northern regional qualifying rounds which will take place over three days from September 26 to 28; the Southern regional qualifying rounds will take place from October 9 to 12. The tournament journey will end with the national final round, held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 24 to 26.
