Auction of Vietnam's largest floating restaurant ship Elisa

Elisa ship owner owes nearly 137.6 billion VND

Agribank Saigon branch announced the auction of assets which are customer debts with the book value of the temporary debt as of July 31, 2025 being nearly 137.6 billion VND. The collateral asset put up for auction by the bank is the floating restaurant ship Elisa (registration number: SG 3128), the certificate of registration of inland waterway vehicle issued by the Department of Transport on October 24, 2012. The ship is currently anchored at Saigon port (No. 5 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Xom Chieu ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Along with that is a Toyota Camry SE 3.5 car (license plate 51A-113.xx), car registration certificate issued by the Traffic Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police on May 25, 2011.

However, the bank did not announce the starting price for the two assets. The deadline for receiving applications is August 15.

This is not the first time Agribank Saigon branch has put this asset up for auction. Previously, on April 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center organized an auction of the debt of Hao Huy Trading Company Limited at Agribank Saigon branch. The estimated value of the debt at that time was nearly 134 billion VND.

Can accommodate 1,000 guests at a time

Elisa ship was built by Bao Tin Company Limited in 2007. The ship has a design length of 44.29m, a design width of 16m, and a side height of 3.5m.

The ship has a steel hull, is equipped with a 650CV Mitsubishi engine, and can carry up to 1,000 people or 20 tons of cargo.

The ship is currently owned by Hao Huy Trading Company Limited and is being used as a floating restaurant at Saigon Port. In addition to the Elisa, the mortgaged property also includes a Camry SE 3.5 car.

Elisa is the largest floating restaurant in Vietnam, with a capacity of 1,000 guests at the same time, arranged in a variety of spaces such as: outdoors, indoors, banquet hall and VIP room system.

Unlike other restaurant ships, Elisa does not move but is anchored at the dock.

With its prime location, Elisa Floating Restaurant is also a fireworks viewing spot in Ho Chi Minh City every holiday and Tet.
