According to a survey by Lao Dong Newspaper on February 18, 2024 with nearly 30 banks in the system, PVcombank's interest rate is leading the 13-month term market.
PVcomBank is listing the highest savings interest rate for a 13-month term at 10%/year, for mass savings products, applied to counter deposits for newly opened deposit balances of VND 2,000 billion or more. This interest rate has decreased by 0.5% compared to the beginning of December 2023.
Under normal conditions, PVcomBank is listing the highest interest rate for a 13-month term at 4.8%/year when customers deposit savings at the counter.
In second place, HDBank applies an interest rate of 8.2%/year for a 13-month term with the condition of maintaining a minimum balance of VND 300 billion. When customers deposit at the counter, under normal conditions, they only receive an interest rate of 5.1%/year. If they deposit online, customers receive an interest rate of 5.2%/year.
Cake by VPBank is listing the highest interest rate for a 13-month term at 5.7%/year when customers receive interest at the end of the term. Currently, Cake by VPBank is listing interest rates ranging from 4.4-5.7%/year.
CBBank is listing the highest interest rate for the 13-month term at 5.5%/year when customers deposit money online. This is also the highest interest rate among the terms CBBank is listing.
BaoVietBank is listing the highest 13-month term interest rate at 5.5% when customers deposit money online and receive interest monthly. Customers receiving interest at the end of the term receive an interest rate of 5.3%/year.
NamABank is listing the highest interest rate for a 13-month term at 5.4%/year when customers deposit money online and receive interest at the end of the term. NamABank is listing interest rates ranging from 0.5-5.8%/year.
NCB is listing the highest 13-month term interest rate at 5.3%/year for customers depositing in An Phu, receiving interest at the end of the term. Customers depositing in traditional savings receive an interest rate of 5.15%/year.
Deposit 800 million VND, after 13 months receive how much interest?
You can refer to the interest calculation method to know how much interest you will receive after saving. To calculate interest, you can apply the formula:
Interest = deposit x interest rate %/12 x number of months of deposit.
For example, you deposit 800 million VND into Bank A, term 13 months and enjoy interest rate 5.7%/year, the interest received is as follows:
800 million VND x 5.7%/12 x 13 = 49.4 million VND.
