Welcoming the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to Vietnam and working with the Ministry of Education and Training , Deputy Minister Le Quan said: Along with the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, cooperation between the two countries in the field of education is increasingly growing in both breadth and depth.
The system of educational cooperation documents between the two countries is relatively complete, serving as an important legal basis for the two countries to promote and deepen comprehensive cooperation activities in all aspects of education and training, developing equally and sustainably, on the basis of high trust.
Cooperation in training high-quality human resources is a highlight in the comprehensive strategic partnership on education between the two countries. The intellectuals trained by the Russian Federation have in-depth and systematic knowledge, and upon returning home, have made very positive contributions in each of their working positions, especially in basic science , technology, security and defense.

There are currently over 150 cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and Russian universities, through which higher education institutions of the two countries have carried out many cooperative research activities, academic exchanges, coordinated organization of conferences, seminars, and student and lecturer exchanges.
The fields with a lot of cooperation are the fields that Vietnam is interested in such as: clean energy, green fuel, information technology, Artificial Intelligence, law, Russian language, mining - geology, transportation, economics - management, agriculture, marine science and economics, fisheries, environment,... between Vietnamese universities and universities of the Russian Federation.
At the working session, Deputy Minister Konstantin Mogilevsky and members of the working delegation discussed with the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training about the implementation of the signing of the Agreement between the two Governments on the establishment and operation of the Pushkin Center, the organization of the Vietnam - Russian Federation University Rectors' Forum, and the exchange of students and lecturers between higher education institutions.
The two sides pledged to cooperate, support, and facilitate the effective implementation of priority cooperation tasks on education in the Master Plan on cooperation with the Russian Federation until 2030 and the List of priority cooperation tasks between Vietnam and Russia for the 2024-2025 period.

Promote the effective implementation of the Agreement on the establishment and operation of the Pushkin Center in Hanoi; provide Russian language training for Vietnamese citizens studying in Russia every year under the Agreement; speed up the progress of the project on establishing Russian schools in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Le Quan proposed that Russia accept Vietnamese students to study in Vietnam's strengths and major areas of interest according to demand to serve Vietnam's socio-economic development such as: basic sciences, artificial intelligence, semiconductor science, new technology, green energy, renewable energy, oil and gas, transportation, mining and nuclear power.
The Ministry of Education and Training proposed promoting the Russian language and Russian culture in Vietnam through supporting Russian language teaching programs; popularizing and teaching Vietnamese language and culture in Russian schools; and facilitating the activities of three Vietnamese-Russian university networks in engineering, information technology and finance to create a “new driving force” in cooperation in higher education and training of highly qualified human resources in Vietnam.
