The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee outlined 6 key areas that city leaders and the health sector need to focus on to develop specialized healthcare in the southern region:
Firstly, Ho Chi Minh City focuses on investing in completing the health care system according to the plan, especially specialized hospitals.
Second, train human resources in sufficient quantity, ensuring service quality in a specialized direction.
Third, deploy the city's data strategy, focusing on developing health data connectivity towards smart health development.
Fourth, promulgate policies to develop research and development activities in microbiological technology.
Fifth, perfect the regional health network system in diagnosis, treatment, human resource training and other mechanisms, especially specialized mechanisms.
Sixth, further improve the quality of state management of health to create an administrative legal framework, aiming to develop international-level health care centers in a specialized direction.
