Visitors will experience a journey that encompasses all the emotions, a magical journey for open-minded souls and those who love to explore .
In particular, the Hilly Terraced Field Festival with activities such as: Fair to display, promote, introduce, and promote the consumption of OCOP products, typical products of Lac Son district in 2024.
Thereby, to promote business start-ups, entrepreneurship and attract investment in ethnic minority and mountainous areas under Sub-project 2 of Project 3, National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Lac Son district.
The fair introduces, promotes and connects collective economic organizations with other economic sectors, helping cooperatives to reach a wide range of consumers and bring products to people across the district.
At the same time, promote production and business in ethnic minority areas based on the potential strengths and available natural resources of the locality, create jobs and stable income, and create a space for close connection in production and consumption of goods.
The market includes 13 booths displaying and introducing typical local products such as: Phu Luong Chili; Khe Mien Doi Egg Sticky Rice; Chi Dao Doi Seeds; Huong Nhuong Hill Chicken; Lac Son Sour Meat; Nhung Van Turmeric Starch; Thanh An Honey.
The highlight of this festival is the majestic beauty of the terraced fields of the Hilly Region in the ripe rice season, when people are preparing to harvest. Through this, people and tourists from all over the world can visit and experience the natural beauty of the Hilly Region commune, learn about the Muong ethnic culture such as: New Rice Celebration, Muong gong performance by 600 Muong people, cultural and sports activities imbued with the ethnic cultural identity of Lac Son district.
Ms. Doan Huong Giang, a tourist from Hanoi, said that the terraced fields in Mien Doi commune are considered the most beautiful in Hoa Binh province, not inferior to other famous terraced fields in Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, etc. The atmosphere here can be considered a miniature Sa Pa.
“The most impressive thing is that the landscape here is still wild, from the rice fields, stilt houses, culture and customs of the people.
However, despite the advantage of being only 100 km away from Hanoi, the introduction and promotion of Hoa Binh tourism has not been focused on, so many people do not know about this place.
