Regarding training, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hai Quan said that in 2025, a number of new interdisciplinary and inter-school training programs will continue to be opened to provide high-quality human resources to serve the country's development needs. Specifically, new energy industries (renewable energy, nuclear power); new logistics industries will train human resources who can participate in operating the metro system, Long Thanh International Airport, high-speed railways, etc. Continue to develop programs to attract and nurture excellent students, programs to train talents in basic sciences, promote scientific research, etc.

Regarding science and technology, put into operation and effectively exploit the equipment of the Advanced Research and Innovation Center project. Develop and register patents for sample products in the fields of materials technology, biology, pharmaceutical chemistry, chip - semiconductor, AI.

The goal by 2030 is for Ho Chi Minh City National University to have 75% of lecturers with doctoral degrees/total number of lecturers in the entire system (as of October 31, it reached 53.7%). To achieve the above goal, the solution is a preferential recruitment policy to attract doctors to teach at member units. At the same time, create conditions for working lecturers to study and improve their qualifications. Provide funding and encourage lecturers to participate in major scientific research projects, thereby increasing motivation to study for a doctorate.
