Specifically, the highest benchmark score is 24.65, applied to female candidates in region 3, taking exam code CA2 (natural sciences , social sciences, English language, literature) in the competency assessment exam.

The lowest admission score of 18.02 is for female candidates in region 8. The slightly higher score of 19.23 applies to male candidates in this region, but with exam code CA1 (natural sciences, social sciences, English language, math).

In 2023, the People's Police Academy will enroll students by three methods, including: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security ; Admission based on a combination of international language certificates with graduation exam scores; Admission based on a combination of graduation exam scores with the Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment test scores.

In 2023, the benchmark score based on the combination of high school graduation exam scores and capacity assessment of the People's Police Academy fluctuates between 16.15 and 24.78, the highest benchmark score for female candidates in admission region 3.

Region 1, Northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

Region 2, provinces and cities in the Northern Delta and Midlands (15 provinces and cities): Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh. Region 3, provinces in the North Central Coast (06 provinces): Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.

Northern Region 8, active duty soldiers stationed from Thua Thien Hue province and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

Students of cultural schools register for the exam and participate in the selection process with candidates from the area that the local police send to cultural schools.
