The 2024 Australian Open will take place in Australia from January 14 to January 28 and the tournament organizers have conducted the draw for the brackets. Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are the two top seeds, and will only meet in the final.
Defending champion Novak Djokovic will open his campaign against a qualifier. If he wins, the Serb will face the winner of Marc Polmans vs Alexei Popyrin. In the third round, Djokovic could face former world number one Andy Murray.

If he makes it to the fourth round, Nole could face the first seed, rising American Ben Shelton, who is in good form. If he plays well, the Serbian star could potentially meet Australian Open 2023 runner-up Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals.
Djokovic’s biggest rival on the road to the final is likely to be Jannik Sinner. This promises to be a tough semi-final for the 24-time Grand Slam champion because in the last 3 meetings, the 22-year-old Italian star has won 2 matches against his senior.
Second seed Carlos Alcaraz faces veteran Richard Gasquet in the first round. If he advances, Alcaraz will face the winner of the match between Dan Evans and Lorenzo Sonego. The Spaniard could face 31st seed Alexander Bublik in the third round and 14th seed Tommy Paul in the fourth round.

If Alcaraz plays well and reaches the quarterfinals, he will likely meet Alexander Zverev (seed number 6) who is in very good form. To make his name in the final, Alcaraz may have to overcome the fierce match with Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals.
Round 1 of this year's Australian Open also has many attractive matches. Former champion Stan Wawrinka faces 20th seed Adrian Mannarino while former US Open champion Dominic Thiem takes on 27th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime.
