On the morning of October 2, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to present decisions to officials. Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc chaired the conference.

At the conference, representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decisions of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Standing Committee on personnel work.

14 officials became commune-level leaders

Accordingly, Ms. Huynh Phong Van, Party Committee member, Head of the Party Organization Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee, and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thanh Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Mai Tien Dung, an official of the City Party Committee's Organization Board (former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the grassroots block of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment ), was mobilized and appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Hung Hoa ward for the 2025-2030 term.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phuoc Loc and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee Dinh Thanh Nhan presented the decision and presented flowers to congratulate the officials.

Mr. Luong Van Nhien, Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Office, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Long Binh Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Phan Cong Thanh, former Vice Principal of Binh Duong Provincial Political School (old), was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Phu An Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Vu Hong Thuan, an official of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism (former Acting Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Vung Tau Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Tran Thanh Huyen, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Dao Special Zone, was mobilized and appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dat Do commune for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Loc, Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and hold the position of Head of the Inspection Committee of the Hanh Thong Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Cooperative Alliance, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Lai Thieu Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Trinh Huu Anh, Deputy Head of the Press and Publishing Department, Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Duc Nhuan Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Ms. Pham Thuy Vy, Deputy Head of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the An Khanh Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Tran Huu Nghia, Deputy Head of the Committee for Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, was appointed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to join the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Tan Vinh Loc commune for the 2025-2030 term.

High determination, great effort

In his speech assigning tasks, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Phuoc Loc sent congratulations to the personnel receiving the decision today.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc said that the city is currently making comprehensive efforts to lead, direct, and effectively operate the two-level local government model. At the same time, it is directing the organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; along with that, directing the Congress of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations at the commune level.

To effectively implement the above content, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee always pays attention to and focuses on leading, directing, reviewing, and perfecting the work of cadres, especially leaders, managers, and Party committee officials to ensure the organization and apparatus operate effectively, efficiently, and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc said that through two rounds of handing over decisions on cadres (September 26 and today), the city has increased the number of city-level cadres at the grassroots level. This is one of the steps and the process of leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on cadre work.

The Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requested that the officials receiving the decision must demonstrate high determination and great efforts in participating in leadership and direction with the Party Committee and Party Committee where they work, especially in organizing and implementing, creating strong changes, and upholding the sense of responsibility in assigned tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc also asked the personnel to build a personal action program as a political commitment to the Party and the people. The commune level is the level closest to the people, has the most direct contact with the people, and serves the people most clearly and most easily.

Therefore, each individual must set an example in their work; must not be subjective, negligent, shirk work and shirk responsibility. Together with the Party Committee and the Standing Committee, they must build a truly scientific, democratic, united and practical working method and style to jointly lead and direct political tasks at the local level, ensuring the smooth implementation of the Central Resolution down to the commune level.
