(Dan Tri) - The draw for the 2025 US Open pits Djokovic against Learner Tien in the opening match. The Serbian is in the same semifinal bracket as Taylor Fritz and Carlos Alcaraz.

The final Grand Slam of 2025, the US Open, will take place in New York (USA) from August 24 to September 7. Novak Djokovic is hunting for his 25th Grand Slam title, after witnessing Sinner and Alcaraz take turns winning the last 7 tournaments.

According to the draw results, Djokovic will face Vietnamese-American player Learner Tien in the opening match. This promises to be an interesting match, as Learner Tien defeated Daniil Medvedev at the 2025 Australian Open.

If Djokovic maintains his form and advances far in the tournament, he could face Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals. His next potential opponent if Djokovic advances to the semi-finals is Carlos Alcaraz.

Second seed Carlos Alcaraz starts the tournament against American Reilly Opelka. The big opponents Alcaraz could face on his way to the final include Daniil Medvedev, Caspers Ruud and Ben Shelton.

Top seed Jannik Sinner will face Vit Kopriva (Czech Republic) in the opening match of this year's tournament.
