The delegation of the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs in Quang Tri.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the evening of July 18, a delegation from the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery, National Martyrs Cemetery of Road 9, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Relic, Vinh Linh Cemetery (Quang Tri province).

Participating in the working delegation were comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phung Thanh Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dang Thanh Tung - Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; and leaders and staff of departments, offices and units under the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery has an area of ​​14 hectares, located on Ben Tat hill, Con Tien commune, Quang Tri province, the resting place of more than 10,200 martyrs from main force units, local troops, militia and guerrillas, and youth volunteers who served in combat on the fronts during the anti-American war to save the country. Of these, nearly 1,300 martyrs are children of Nghe An people resting here.

Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery is a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, of the spirit and will to fight for independence and the desire for peace of our people.

In the sacred atmosphere, the delegation of the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province respectfully offered flowers and incense to express their deep remembrance, gratitude and honor to beloved children across the country, including those from Nghe An who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones on the Truong Son roads for the cause of national liberation.

On the same day, a delegation of officials from the Provincial People's Committee Office offered flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs Cemetery on Road 9 (Dong Ha Ward, Quang Tri Province).

National Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery - the resting place of more than 10,800 martyrs who were main force soldiers, local soldiers, militia and guerrillas, and youth volunteers who fought and served on the Road 9 front and in Laos during the resistance war against the US, including about 200 martyrs from Nghe An.
