Receiving and working with the delegation were representatives of the leaders of the Departments: Culture and Sports, Tourism, Science and Technology, Provincial Police; Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio - Television, and representatives of the Press Department.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, expressed his pleasure in welcoming the Cambodian journalist delegation, and affirmed that the visit is a vivid demonstration of the solidarity, friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia. He emphasized that in the context of the world press strongly transforming towards digitalization, enhancing the exchange and learning of experiences between the press agencies of the two countries is extremely practical.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. In Chhay expressed his deep gratitude for the warm and sincere welcome from Ninh Binh province. He said that the purpose of this visit is to learn and gain experience in the digital transformation process in local journalism activities, especially the model of integrating multi-platform communication and comprehensive digitalization of business processes.

At the conference, Comrade Bui Ngoc Quang, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ninh Binh Newspaper, Radio and Television, introduced the general operating model of the provincial press agency after merging the following units: Ninh Binh Newspaper, Ninh Binh Radio and Television, Ha Nam Newspaper and Nam Dinh Newspaper. Currently, the unit is operating synchronously on four types: print newspaper, electronic newspaper, radio and television.

Ninh Binh e-newspaper has both Vietnamese and English versions, with a modern interface, rich content, diverse forms of expression such as Emagazine, Podcast, Infographic, short videos..., attracting from 700,000 to 800,000 visits per month. In addition, the unit also builds a multi-channel media ecosystem including: electronic information page, YouTube channel, Facebook fanpage, TikTok account and mobile application.

In the field of radio and television, the unit has proactively invested in and applied digital technology to the entire production and broadcasting process. Automating many stages helps improve efficiency, shorten content processing time, and at the same time enhance the ability to work flexibly remotely, ensuring data security through a periodic backup system on the Private Cloud platform. This is an important step towards a modern converged newsroom model.

Within the framework of the working session, the two sides exchanged and clarified many contents related to institutions, orientations for press development in the digital transformation process, management and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in communication, as well as experience in developing tourism, science and technology in the locality.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Duc Cuong acknowledged the open spirit and goodwill of the Cambodian Journalists Delegation in exchanging information and sharing practical experiences. He affirmed that this is an important opportunity to enhance mutual understanding, open up opportunities for practical cooperation, and work towards the goal of developing modern and sustainable journalism and media on the basis of digitalization, integration and innovation./.
