Travel demand increased sharply
According to statistics from the Department of Construction of Gia Lai province, there are currently 8 enterprises operating the Quy Nhon-Pleiku route, with an average frequency of 20 trips/day. Popular vehicle types include 9-seat, 16-seat and 29-seat vehicles. Ticket prices range from 150,000 to 220,000 VND/trip, depending on the vehicle type and accompanying amenities.

In just over the past 2 months, passenger traffic on this route has increased by about 30% compared to the same period last year. People travel not only for work and trade but also for tourism and visiting relatives.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong (Chu Pah commune) shared: “Every month, I go to Quy Nhon at least twice. Before, I had to wait for a bus for a long time, and the service was limited. Now, bus companies run continuously, making travel much more convenient.”
Not only the main route Quy Nhon-Pleiku, other connecting routes such as Kon Tum -Quy Nhon, Duc Co-Quy Nhon or Buon Ma Thuot-Quy Nhon also recorded a clear increase in the number of passengers, showing the increasing demand for trade and regional connectivity.
Faced with the high demand from passengers, many businesses have boldly invested in vehicles to exploit, especially the Quy Nhon-Pleiku route. Trung Nguyen Limousine has just entered the market with a 9-seat massage car, with pick-up and drop-off service within Pleiku and Quy Nhon city.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thong - Director of Trung Nguyen Limousine bus company - said: "We currently have 4 cars, in October we will add 6 more cars to serve customers. The bus company maintains 12 trips/day, committed to departing on time and bringing a professional experience".
On the occasion of opening, the bus company also reduced ticket prices by 20% to encourage people to experience it.

Hoang Thuy Limousine opened the Pleiku-Quy Nhon route from September 25 with a 10-seat VIP Ford Transit Limousine. The vehicle is equipped with massage chairs, high-speed wifi, and free snacks. In particular, the bus company organizes trips continuously from 2am to 7pm every day, every 15 minutes, meeting the maximum travel needs of customers. The bus company sells tickets and makes reservations on the apps vexere.com, TikTok, and Facebook.
Professional service, many amenities
The participation of new businesses creates strong competition in terms of quality, price and accompanying amenities. This forces long-standing car companies to invest in upgrading. Typically, Tuan Anh car company (specializing in the Pleiku-Quy Nhon route) increased from 20 to 34 trips/day, of which 30 trips are by 9-seat Limousine.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung (in Mang Yang commune) said: "Previously, going to Quy Nhon was mainly by 16-seat car, sometimes we had to wait for a long time to join passengers. Now there are more companies arranging Limousine cars to run continuously, and there is also a pick-up service, so traveling is much more convenient. What I like most is that I get to travel by car with massage chairs, traveling long distances without feeling tired."
From another perspective, Mr. Tran Van Loi (Pleiku ward) commented: “Using a premium car service helps save time and creates a professional feeling when traveling for work. The ticket price is a little higher but it is completely worth it.”
The highlight is the change in service quality. Enterprises not only invest in modern facilities but also focus on the experience factor: from waiting room space, staff attitude to accompanying amenities.
Many promotional programs such as discounts and souvenirs are also implemented, creating more satisfaction for passengers. Some businesses also expand their pick-up and drop-off services, supporting passengers in Pleiku ward, Quy Nhon and neighboring wards.
In fact, the active competition has helped the province's passenger transport market become more vibrant. People not only enjoy high-quality services, but also contribute to promoting the development of the local transport industry. This is also the driving force for businesses to continue investing and innovating to meet the increasing needs of passengers.
