According to information from Gizmochina, the smartphone sales of China's leading technology company contributed greatly to the company's success in the second quarter of 2024 financial fund.
Xiaomi earned 46.5 billion yuan (about $6.5 billion) from smartphone sales between April and June, up 27% from the same period last year. Xiaomi shipped 42.2 million smartphones, including models from its Redmi and POCO sub-brands.
Of these, high-end smartphones accounted for 22.1% of total shipments. In the Chinese market alone, the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 models are very popular. However, these models do not have an international version, so Xiaomi's sales are somewhat limited.
For many consecutive quarters, Xiaomi has remained the world's third-largest smartphone maker after Apple and Samsung. More and more people are choosing Xiaomi products because of their good configuration, affordable prices, and wide range of choices. The total number of users in the Xiaomi ecosystem is now 676 million, up 11.5% year-on-year.
