- On the afternoon of September 30, the leader of the Border Gate Management Center, the Management Board of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone said that on the occasion of China's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chinese side has 8 days off (from October 1 to October 8). However, during this time, customs clearance and import and export of goods through the border gates of Lang Son province (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China) still take place normally.
Accordingly, through a phone conversation between the Border Gate Management Center, the Management Board of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone (Vietnam) With the Trade Bureau of Pingxiang Town and Ningming District (Guangxi, China), in accordance with the agreements between the two localities of the two countries, the functional forces at the border gates of the two countries: Huu Nghi - Huu Nghi Quan, Tan Thanh - Po Chai, Chi Ma - Ai Diem, Coc Nam - Lung Nghiu and other secondary border gates will still carry out normal import and export procedures during the holidays. Thereby, customs clearance of goods through the border gates in Lang Son province in the coming days will still take place normally, including Saturdays and Sundays.
To ensure smooth import and export activities, the authorities at Lang Son province's border gates continue to deploy professional measures, arrange on-duty personnel, and increase working hours to handle customs clearance procedures for businesses as quickly as possible.
It is known that from January 1 to the afternoon of September 30, there were nearly 415,000 vehicles carrying goods passing through Lang Son province's border gates. Of which, vehicles carrying export goods through the province's border gates reached more than 111,000 vehicles.
In the last days of September 2025, on average, about 1,850 vehicles carrying import and export goods cleared customs through Lang Son province's border gates every day.
