Among them is Mr. Pham Van Day (75 years old, residing in Khanh Binh Dong commune, Tran Van Thoi district). According to Mr. Day, even he himself does not know when this profession was formed. He only remembers that this is a traditional profession passed down from father to son of the people here.

"Since I was a child, my father taught me how to make traps and traps to catch fish or sell them," Mr. Day said. He added that although this profession cannot make him rich, it can still ensure his life.

According to experienced people in the profession like Mr. Day and Mr. Huoi, compared to other professions, making traps and nets is mainly labor-intensive, but requires high technical skills. Even the elderly and children can do it in their spare time.
