However, throughout the time they operated the shoe store, the owners, Mr. Lin Jinghuan and Ms. Qiu Zhijuan, always treated the students very kindly. They welcomed the students to rest on the benches to try on shoes while waiting for their parents to pick them up.

Mr. Lin and his wife also turned on the cartoon channel on the TV in the store to entertain the students after school with age-appropriate content.

Due to insurmountable financial difficulties, Mr. Lin and his wife decided to close the shoe store at the end of November 2024. This made the students feel regretful. It was at this time that some students came up with a new business idea for Mr. Lin and Ms. Qiu.

"The students gave us a lot of useful advice. They suggested we open a fast food shop so they can have a cheap snack after school," said Mr. Lin.

When interviewed, the students who visited Mr. Lin and his wife's store all said that they loved the owners because they always treated them with respect and kindness.
