The Provincial Party Secretary received and worked with the Pacific Construction Group (China)

On December 11, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a meeting and worked with Pacific Construction Group (China). This is one of the 500 largest enterprises in the world. Attending the meeting were Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee welcomed Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, founder of Pacific Construction Group and the delegation to Quang Ninh.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, founder of Pacific Construction Group, highly appreciated the advantages and potential of Quang Ninh province and believed in the province's remarkable development in the coming time.

Introducing the strengths of Pacific Construction Group in areas such as bridges, roads, railways, offshore wind power, smart city construction, waste treatment, water resources, etc., Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa expressed his desire to invest in Quang Ninh province, with the principle of "doing big things with a long-term vision". He also affirmed that when investing in Quang Ninh, the Group will always pay attention to progress, quality, price, and especially will always put the interests of Quang Ninh province first.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee welcomed the delegation to visit and learn about cooperation and investment opportunities in Quang Ninh province. Appreciating the Group's viewpoint of only doing what other enterprises do not do, cannot do, the Provincial Party Secretary shared with the Group the development orientation of the province in the coming time and suggested that the Group research and invest in a number of fields in the area, including the railway connecting Mong Cai - Ha Long - Hai Phong - Hanoi. Thereby, forming a synchronous traffic route connecting the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) with Quang Ninh - Hai Phong - Hanoi. This is also the policy agreed upon by the leaders of the two Parties and the two States in recent meetings. The Group is interested in researching industrial park infrastructure projects in Quang Ninh province, on that basis, inviting member enterprises and enterprises in the Group's ecosystem to implement secondary investment projects in industrial parks; Research on investment projects in urban infrastructure systems of Ha Long City to develop smart cities, green cities, and eco-tourism.

He also suggested that the Group consider selecting Ha Long City as the location for its representative office in Vietnam. Quang Ninh Province will provide maximum support for the Group to select a construction site and complete related procedures.
