On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Region and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, on the afternoon of April 27, comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, together with leaders of a number of agencies, units and the Cam Pha City Party Committee visited and presented gifts to people with meritorious services to the revolution, cadres, soldiers and those who directly participated in the Great Victory of Spring 1975 in Cam Pha City.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the working delegation visited Mr. Dao Tuan Tuyet, residing in Diem Thuy area, Cam Binh ward; Mr. Le Duc Khoi, residing in group 5, Doc Thong area, Cam Tay ward; Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, residing in area 4A, Cam Trung ward. These are former soldiers who directly participated in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, contributing to the Great Victory of Spring 1975, were awarded the Liberation Soldier Medal, the Glorious Soldier Medal and the title of Brave Soldier determined to win, and are currently wounded soldiers and victims of Agent Orange.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the working delegation kindly inquired about the health, work, and daily life of the families; and expressed gratitude for the contributions of the veterans. He affirmed that the Party, the State, the Party Committee and the Quang Ninh Provincial Government always pay special attention to and take care of families with meritorious services to the revolution. On holidays and New Year's, delegations are organized to visit, express gratitude, encourage, and give gifts to the families; organize support to build houses for poor families, and provide monthly allowances for war veterans who have lost their working capacity.
He wished the families good health, continued to preserve and promote good traditions, and set a shining example for their children and the community to follow.
On this occasion, the leaders of Cam Pha City Party Committee presented meaningful gifts to the families.
