The project "Mekong Leadership Program and Capacity Building Activities" is recruiting a project officer and accountant.

The project "Mekong Leadership Program and Capacity Building Activities" (Mekong LEAD/BUILD) is funded by the Mekong - Korea Cooperation Fund and implemented by the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs ) from June 2023 to May 2025.

Mekong LEAD/BUILD project needs to recruit 01 project officer and accountant, starting from October 2023.

Job Description

Responsible for performing project accounting duties.
Financial planning, control and disbursement of capital according to regulations of the Vietnamese Government and donors. Check and verify the reasonableness of financial records.
Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reports as required by the Project Management Director.
Carry out project bidding related activities.
Monitor and control expenditures according to approved budget.
Prepare audit work.
Arrange and organize project activities.
Perform other tasks as required by the Project Management Board.

Conditions for submitting recruitment application

Vietnamese citizen, with permanent residence in Vietnam.
University degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in finance and accounting.
Proficient in office software and accounting software.
Knowledge and experience in processes and procedures related to procurement, accounting, budget management and forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, experience working with auditors, implementing project activities using foreign funding.
English fluently.

Recruitment method: Through profile assessment and interview (only notify results to selected candidates).

Working period: Expected to start from October 2023, probationary period of 01 month, then sign a contract according to the project's operation time.

Salary: According to agreement and in accordance with project standards.
