The number of visitors to Hue on the occasion of September 2nd holiday this year will increase sharply.

Specifically, according to data from survey and statistical channels of the Department of Tourism , the total number of tourists to Hue city is estimated at 196,000 (an increase of nearly 51% compared to the same period on September 2, 2024), revenue from tourism services is estimated at 310 billion VND (an increase of nearly 135% over the same period).

The number of guests staying during the September 2 holiday this year is expected to reach 92,000 (an increase of 41.5% compared to the September 2, 2024 holiday), including about 23,000 international guests (an increase of nearly 44% compared to the September 2, 2024 holiday).

The average occupancy rate of hotel rooms reached about 72%; on August 31, September 1 and September 2, the occupancy rate of many accommodation establishments reached more than 85%. Most of the hotels in the center of Hue city, coastal resorts, lagoons and waterfalls, and homestays in Hue city were almost full of guests booking rooms for these 3 days.

The leaders of the Department of Tourism said that in order to proactively welcome visitors, the tourism industry and businesses have surveyed, built and completed tourism products. Accommodation establishments in the city have also urgently completed service plans such as reserving raw materials, arranging overtime, upgrading facilities, and implementing additional preferential services and gifts to create a positive experience for visitors.

The tourism industry will also strengthen the inspection and supervision of service activities at accommodation establishments and tourist attractions in the city, ensuring a safe, high-quality and friendly tourism environment. The industry's hotline will be staffed 24/7 to promptly receive and handle feedback, ensuring the rights of tourists and businesses.
