According to Tuyen Quang Hydrometeorological Station, last night and early this morning (September 30), Tuyen Quang province had moderate rain, heavy rain, very heavy rain in some places and scattered thunderstorms, with rainfall from 7:00 p.m. on September 29 to 8:00 a.m. on September 30 in common places from 50-100mm, in some places over 150mm such as: Lang Can: 192mm, Yen Lap: 180mm, Tri Phu: 175mm, Lao Chai, Ho Thau, Tien Nguyen: 155mm.

Forecast: Due to the influence of the northern edge of the thermal convergence zone with an axis at about 17-20 degrees north latitude connecting with the low area weakened by storm No. 10, from the morning of September 30 to the end of the morning of October 1, in Tuyen Quang province there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; rainfall from 30-70mm, some places over 150mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/3h). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. From noon on October 1, heavy rain in the province will gradually decrease. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the area, with common rainfall of 10-30mm, some places over 50mm.

- High risk of landslides, especially in areas with steep terrain.

- Heavy rain may be accompanied by thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds that can break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.

- Flooding crops, making the soil saturated with water, or causing crops to fall and flood, causing damage to crops.

- Heavy rain in a short period of time overloads the urban drainage system, causing flooding in residential areas, traffic jams due to flooded roads and reduced visibility when driving, causing slippery roads and traffic accidents.
