The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 14-15 (150-183 km/h), gusting to level 17; moving in the West Northwest direction, speed about 5 km/h.

Due to the influence of a low pressure trough with an axis at about 19-22 degrees North latitude connected with storm No. 5 (storm Krathon), on October 2, the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have stormy rain.

On the night of October 2 and the day of October 3, the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea (north of latitude 18.5N; east of longitude 118.0E) will have strong winds of level 8-10, near the storm center of level 10-12, gusting over level 16. The sea will be very rough. Waves will be 7-9m high.

In the Gulf of Tonkin, there is a northeast wind of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough sea. Waves are 2-3m high. From October 3, the wind will gradually decrease.

On land, from early morning of October 2 to the end of October 2, in the area from Southern Nghe An to Thua Thien Hue, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 30-60mm, locally over 150mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/6 hours). From the night of October 2, heavy rain will gradually decrease.

On the afternoon and night of October 2, in the area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan and the Central Highlands, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 10-30mm, locally over 100mm. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

The meteorological agency warned that heavy rain and localized heavy rain of high intensity could cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.

In addition, due to the cold air mass, the weather today in the Northern and North Central regions will turn cool; cold at night and early morning, especially in the mountainous areas of the North.

The lowest temperature in the North and Thanh Hoa is generally from 19-22 degrees, in mountainous areas 17-19 degrees, in high mountainous areas below 16 degrees in some places; in Nghe An - Ha Tinh the lowest temperature is generally from 20-23 degrees.
